Book of Mormon

Hey everyone! This week started out really well. We had a lesson with Kevin and Sheri about the gospel of Jesus Christ and we used the Book of Mormon as we taught and it went super well. They are loving the scriptures and have been pretty good about reading as a couple every night :) Speaking of the Book of Mormon I finished reading it this week! Hooray :) Now I am going to start again and I am going to study the Christlike attributes listed in pmg :) I am excited! On Tuesday we had service at the food bank and then finding for the rest of the day. We probably knocked on like 20 doors and no one was home/answered but we did get to talk with a few people on the street and even though none of them were interested they were all really nice. Tuesday night after dinner we met with an investigator for the first time and Sister Cundick took the lead in teaching the restoration:) she did a fabulous job and by the end of the lesson she asked us when she could be baptized!! So she is hopefully going to be baptized on the 19th of this month :) Her name is Silvia so pray for her! On Wednesday we rode around all of Mather and talked to everyone we saw! Then we went to Anatolia for dinner with the Payne family :) they are awesome!! After that we went to Kevin and Sheris house and read the Book of Mormon with them. On Thursday we had a really awesome zone training. We talked a ton about the importance of the Book of Mormon. We are going to try as a zone to use the Book of Mormon especially moroni's promise (Moroni 10:3-5) while we are contacting people. If you haven't read the Book of Mormon all the way through do it! And if you have do it again! I promise that as you study and ponder the book you will feel your Heavenly Fathers love for you and the Holy Ghost will testify of the truthfulness of it to you. I love the Book of Mormon and I know without a doubt that it is true and that this gospel is the same gospel that Jesus Christ established when he was here on earth. I know that we have a modern day prophet on the earth today and I know he has been called of God to lead and guide us. I would not be on my mission away from my friends and family teaching it to people if I didn't believe it. I have prayed and asked God and through the Holy Ghost I know it's true.
